Ooredoo’s Qadaa Programme Empowers Team Members, Transforming Them into Leaders

In recognition of the pivotal role effective leadership plays in the workplace, Ooredoo has introduced the ‘Qadaa Leadership Excellence Programme 2.0,’ the latest iteration of its exclusive two-year leadership training initiative. This bespoke programme is designed to cultivate the leadership skills of select Ooredoo team members, both at senior and aspiring levels, equipping them to lead teams effectively and drive successful outcomes. Qadaa 2.0 focuses on instilling the capabilities required to bring out the best in teams and achieve organizational objectives.

Sulaiman Al Mughairi, Acting Chief People Officer at Ooredoo, emphasized the transformative nature of the Qadaa programme. He stated, “Qadaa is a transformational leadership development programme that forms part of Ooredoo’s continuing drive to train and upskill team members. We initiated Qadaa to build and maintain a culture of sustained Ooredoo leadership across the organisation. We want our managers to use a specific leadership style to support their team in thriving, while solid management is based on consistency.”

The Qadaa 2.0 programme was officially launched in a signing ceremony with Business, incorporating a comprehensive curriculum of learning, practical application, and coaching. Initiated in 2016, the Qadaa programme aims to provide all managers at every level within Ooredoo with the opportunity to excel and achieve optimal performance throughout the company. This strategic initiative reflects Ooredoo’s commitment to nurturing a leadership culture that not only meets the current demands of the organization but also prepares leaders for the evolving challenges of the future.
