Global digital business and IT services leader NTT DATA has joined forces with Mark Development, a developer of mixed-use projects, to launch a Smart Solutions pilot focused on sustainable living. 

The collaboration aligns with Mark Development’s commitment to enhancing sustainability initiatives by fostering connected experiences and engagement through purpose-driven sustainable practices.

The pilot project, situated in the Trio Development Complex in Newton, Massachusetts, leverages NTT DATA’s Smart Management Platform (SMP) to collect and analyze data from various sources. The objective is to provide actionable insights and recommendations to tenants and management, enabling them to reduce environmental impact through energy conservation, temperature control, and public transit choices.

NTT DATA’s SMP, built on a digital twin foundation, integrates key data such as building, unit, tenant, transit, and weather information from multiple sources. The platform will develop web-based applications and dashboards, offering real-time insights to support an environmentally conscious lifestyle. These applications will facilitate tenant interaction, provide event recommendations, and deliver exclusive personalized content to enhance tenant experiences.
