Microsoft Expands Copilot Pro Subscription to Empower Users Across the Middle East

In a move aimed at enhancing productivity and creativity among individuals across the Middle East, Microsoft has announced the expansion of its Copilot Pro subscription. This expansion reflects Microsoft’s commitment to enabling individuals worldwide to achieve more, with Copilot Pro now accessible in all 222 countries where Copilot was previously available.

Copilot Pro represents the advanced iteration of Microsoft’s Copilot platform, catering to individuals, creators, and power users seeking to elevate their Copilot experience. The premium subscription offers users access to a host of features, including priority access to the latest OpenAI models such as GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo, ensuring faster performance even during peak usage periods. Additionally, Copilot Pro users can create and share their own Copilot GPTs tailored to their specific needs and generate unique images, complemented by 100 daily boosts in Microsoft Designer.

As part of the Copilot Pro subscription expansion, users can now utilize Copilot within free Microsoft 365 web apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, eliminating the need for an additional Microsoft 365 subscription. However, Copilot in desktop apps for PC and Mac still requires a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription.

Zubin Chagpar, Senior Director and Business Group Leader, Modern Work and Surface Devices, at Microsoft CEMA, expressed enthusiasm about the impact of Copilot on individuals and organizations, stating, “It has been inspiring to observe how individuals and organizations have been leveraging Copilot in their daily routines to help them improve their productivity and unleash their creativity. From clearing up overflowing inboxes to catching up on missed meetings, finishing complicated reports, and even suggesting recipes to make a delicious dinner, Copilot is helping to drive a new era of efficiency. And now, with Copilot Pro, individual users – in addition to business users – can take these experiences to the next level and even create their personalized Copilots to assist them with various tasks.”

To facilitate users in exploring the Copilot Pro experience, Microsoft has announced a one-month free trial for those installing the Copilot mobile app on iOS or Android. Furthermore, Microsoft plans to extend Copilot availability to more businesses of all sizes and across all industries. Customers with Microsoft 365 F3 and F1, Office 365 E1, Business Basic, and more will soon be eligible to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365.
