Eli Lilly Launches LillyDirect™: A Comprehensive Digital Healthcare Platform for Patients

Eli Lilly and Company has introduced LillyDirect™, a cutting-edge digital healthcare experience tailored for patients in the U.S. managing conditions such as obesity, migraine, and diabetes. LillyDirect™ aims to simplify the patient journey by providing disease management resources, personalized support, and direct home delivery of select Lilly medicines through third-party pharmacy dispensing services.

David A. Ricks, Lilly’s Chair and CEO, highlighted the initiative’s goal to alleviate some of the challenges patients face in managing chronic diseases within the complex U.S. healthcare system. He stated, “With LillyDirect, our goal is to relieve some of those burdens by simplifying the patient experience to help improve outcomes. LillyDirect™ offers patients more choices in accessing healthcare, including the convenience of home delivery for prescribed Lilly medicines.

For patients dealing with obesity, migraine, and diabetes, LillyDirect™ encompasses:

  1. LillyDirect Pharmacy Solutions: A digital pharmacy for select Lilly medicines, powered by third-party online pharmacy fulfillment services. This service provides patients with consistent access to Lilly medicines, coupled with the convenience of home delivery. Patients can access Lilly’s affordability solutions, and savings card opportunities are automatically applied for qualifying individuals. Medicines fulfilled through LillyDirect Pharmacy Solutions are shipped free of charge.
  2. Disease State and Healthcare Educational Information: Resources to empower and support patients on their care journeys.
  3. Access to Independent Telehealth Providers: Complementary to a patient’s primary care team or an alternative to in-person care for certain conditions.
  4. Independent Search Tool: Allows patients to find healthcare professionals nearby if they prefer in-person care.
