Emirates General Petroleum Corporation and Al Maryah Community Bank Forge Historic Partnership to Rename Fuel Stations

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Al Maryah Community Bank, a leading digital bank in the UAE, marking the first-ever naming rights granted to a fuel station within Emarat’s network. This strategic alliance signifies the launch of Project Landmark, a transformative initiative aimed at redefining the role of fuel stations as comprehensive platforms for business growth and customer enrichment.

Under this collaboration, Al Maryah Community Bank becomes the inaugural entity, both locally and globally, to secure naming rights for a fuel station. This strategic move transcends conventional commercial promotion, aiming to elevate customer service standards, integrate business operations, and enhance the overall customer experience.

His Excellency Eng. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Director General of Emarat, expressed pride in this landmark partnership, stating, “We’re proud to partner with Al Maryah Community Bank, making it the first entity to secure naming rights to one of Emarat’s fuel stations under Project Landmark. This move underscores the business community’s confidence in Emarat’s strategic approach and highlights the positive economic impact of this project.”

Mohammed Wassim Khayata, CEO of Al Maryah Community Bank, echoed this sentiment, saying, “Al Maryah Community Bank is honored to establish the inaugural strategic partnership with Emarat under Project Landmark, becoming the first entity globally to secure naming rights for a fuel station. This initiative stems from innovative strategies aimed at enhancing our bank’s visibility and elevating customer experiences across fuel stations and affiliated stores.”

The partnership also brings tangible benefits to customers, with the integration of Al Maryah Community Bank’s Mbank Wallet digital wallet services at Emarat stations. This allows for safe and seamless contactless payment transactions, facilitating convenience and enhancing the overall customer journey.

Emarat’s Project Landmark represents a strategic milestone in the UAE’s fuel station landscape, offering companies unprecedented opportunities to integrate their business models and broaden their brand presence. By aligning with the UAE’s commitment to excellence in customer service practices, Emarat aims to further enhance customer satisfaction and drive innovation in the sector.

For over four decades, Emarat has been a trusted provider of high-quality fuel and retail services to millions of customers across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. With its extensive network of over 139 strategically located service stations, Emarat continues to lead the way in redefining the role of fuel stations as hubs of business activity and customer engagement.
