Careem, the region’s leading multi-service app, has introduced an exclusive Iftar booking, payment, and discounts service through Careem DineOut, in partnership with Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE).

Through Careem DineOut, Careem Plus subscribers gain access to a curated selection of over 200 venues offering Iftar packages across Dubai during Ramadan. Notable venues participating in this initiative include Jun’s Downtown Dubai and Al Sultan Majlis at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Careem DineOut’s intuitive platform empowers customers to seamlessly book and pay for their Iftar packages while enjoying user-friendly filters and curated collections based on budget, location, and cuisine preferences.

Careem DineOut also offers substantial discounts, with customers guaranteed a 15% discount at participating venues, while some establishments offer discounts of up to 50% on their Iftar packages. Additionally, customers can avail of a 30% discount on Hala taxi rides to and from the venue through DineOut, further enhancing the overall dining experience.

Since its launch in 2023, Careem DineOut has become the go-to F&B discovery and discount service for Dubai residents. Careem DineOut now provides access to over 600 partner restaurants in Dubai. Careem Plus members have enjoyed substantial savings on dining bills through Careem DineOut, with the largest single saving of $2,990 for a customer who spent $20,000 for Diwali celebrations at a restaurant in Dubai in 2023. The customer’s savings were 580 times the value of a Careem Plus monthly subscription.

Moreover, in the spirit of giving back during Ramadan, Careem has partnered with local charities and NGOs, including Beit Al Khair, Dubai Cares, and Dar el Ber, to facilitate easy donations through ‘Right Click’, Careem’s in-app donations service. Additionally, Careem has collaborated with Umrahme and Emirates Islamic to surprise top-performing Captains with all-inclusive Umrah trips.
